Getting here
Toulouse airport is just an hour drive away (63kms). There are regular flights to Toulouse from most major European and UK airports. Airport pick-up and drop-off can be arranged, or there is a free pick up service from closest train station (Caussade Tarn-Et-Garonne).
Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga targets yin tissue in the body: joints, bones, ligaments and fascia. We apply controlled stress during longer holds in yin shapes. While a yin practice is much slower than a yang practice (e.g. Hatha, Vinyasa) it isn’t necessarily less challenging. For a balanced body and mind, adding yin to your yang practice is very beneficial. Yin Yoga works with the meridian system of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Yin shapes are used to address specific meridians, their related organs and emotions. A regular yin practice can not only invite more calm and introspective into ones life, it also strengthens and maintains body parts faster yoga styles cannot address.
Restorative Yoga
In today’s turbulent and uncertain world, Restorative Yoga is quickly becoming one of the most popular forms of yoga. It is a fantastic way to address and manage many issues, including physical, mental and emotional challenges. Restorative Yoga can be a wonderful tool to reduce stress and find balance in our often hectic lifestyle. It is also ideal for assisting those working with injuries, or conditions such as high blood pressure, anxiety or chronic fatigue. Restorative Yoga uses supported postures to encourage the passive release of tension stored in the body. It also calms the nervous system, and invites an opportunity for deep and nourishing rest.
Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra, the yogic sleep, has many therapeutic application. Often it is used to induce deep relaxation in body, mind and emotions. A regular practice has been shown in multiple studies to reduce symptoms of PTSD, anxiety and depression. Yoga Nidra can strengthen one’s stress resilience and lower one’s overall stress levels.
