What we cover:

1. Be-friending the Nervous System through Restorative Yoga

The benefits of a yoga practice go far beyond the surface of the physical body. The nervous system can influence the health and success of every other body system, but yoga gives us the ability to reverse-engineer this process. Learn particular poses and practices that show you how to collaborate with the nervous system and truly RELAX!

2. Tuning into the Yin-side of the body

Yin Yoga is based on the Meridian Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). This includes the Yin and Yang organs with their energetic qualities and the flow or the stagnation of Qi (similar to Prana in Yoga). We will look into the energetic perspective of stress and anxiety in this context, particularly which organ energies are affected by stress and anxiety and which Yin shapes can restore balance and harmony in the body.

This workshop will be taught by Manouk Tideman and Julia Gräßer. Both are passionate and experienced teacher trainers (E-RYT500) who are dedicated to sharing the power and potential of a therapeutic yoga practice to navigate life - on and off the mat.
